Goal Setting

  1. Write down a goal (you may have several) write it as current tense e.g.
    1. I am riding my horse out on my own down the beach and loving it.
    2. Or I am riding a level 5 test and its going really well

 

  1. Think about how your goal will show itself
    1. What will you see
    2. How will it feel
    3. What might you hear

 

  1. Is your goal achievable?
    1. Do you believe you can do this
    2. Do you deserve this
    3. Is this goal going to motivate you

 

  1. Why do you want to achieve this goal?
    1. What are your reasons for achieving this goal
    2. What are the benefits to you
    3. What are the benefits for others

 

  1. What is your time frame to achieve this goal?

 

  1. Are there any downsides to you or others in achieving this goal?

 

  1. What are the steps to achieving this goal?

 

  1. What help do you need to achieve this goal?

 

  1. What do you already have going for you to achieve your goal?
